Ingredients:
Cheese – 200 g grated
Potato – 1 boiled and grated
Bread – 1 piece
Onion – 1 chopped
Green chili – 2 or green chili paste 1 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
All spice powder – 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
Freshly crushed black pepper pinch
Coriander pwd – 1 tsp
Bread crumbs – as required
Egg with 1 tbsp milk beaten
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Method:
Grate cheese finely in a bowl. Boil potato, peel off the skin. Mash and keep it ready. Trim the edges of the bread and add to cheese. Add the mashed potato. Add salt, chopped onion, garam masala pwd, cumin powder, coriander pwd and sliced green chilly. Add finely sliced coriander leaves and mix all the ingredients well. Knead it to soft dough. Spread it on clean chopping board. Make your desired shape. You can give shape of your choice. Beat egg with one tbsp of milk in a small bowl and keep bread crumbs ready. Place the cheese cutlet mixture ready. Now dip the cutlets in beaten egg. Coat it with fresh bread crumbs.
(Tip: At this stage you can freeze them too)
Heat oil in a fry pan. Once the oil is hot, drop the cutlets gently. Deep fry till it turns golden brown on both sides. Drain it on kitchen towel. Cheese Cutlets recipe for kids is ready and serve with ketchup.
