What is Crawling?
Crawling is your baby’s first approach of getting everywhere independently. Baby is trying to do it with his own little strength and skills. By crawl, baby starts learning to balance on his hands and knees. After that he’ll understand how to go forward and backward by pushing off with his knees and hands. With crawling, he will be able to strengthening the muscles that will help him to walk soon on his own legs without any support.
How and When Baby Starts Crawling
Parents; crawling is a key moment for your baby growth and development because it is the first step which baby trying to do with his own effort. Keep in mind, crawling is a very individualized ability and the time frame in which babies do it; is not the same – some may begin to crawl in their 7th or 8th month, some when they’re nearby a year. It’s depend on baby own skill and effort.
Babies adopt different ways of Crawling, such as bottom-shuffling, belly Crawl, commando-style tummy-wriggling or rolling across the room. Baby will start crawling only when he has strong head control and his arms and legs are supporting him.
Parents must encourage their babies to crawl, help them and monitor when they crawling. Provide them a clean, safe and vacant place where they can easily crawl and strengthens their muscles.
